build Viiv MCE PC - what MB wake setting should I use

Hi Guys I am currently building a Viiv MCE PC and was wondering if somebody could let me know which "wake/sleep" mode I should use. S1, S3, S4 - I want to be able to use the remote to turn on/off. Any pointer would be helpful ( MB is Asus N4L-VM DH) Regards, Sean

S3 is the most common one used with HTPC's

a viiv pc should support instant on/off, my settings in power options properties are, When i press the power button - DO NOTHING, sleep button-Do Nothing, ensure intel qucik resume technology is selected, resume from standby should be deselected. Quick resume should be enabled is the bios.
