    Hi all,

Has anyone done the Mac OSX Support Essentials v10.4 or other exam?

I'm doing it soon and I was just wondering how people found it. I've been told it is quite easy but does anyone know if this is actually the case?

If anyone has any pointers that would be great (such as stuff to watch out for...) :)

    Thanks,
    Marc.

    Hi Marc.,
Word has it that it is a mutiple choice questions exam. I have been learning the material myself but haven't booked an exam. I asked a guy before that did the 10.3 equilivent, he said that, there are three type of multiple choice:

    Some would be :-

Which of the following command line tools is installed by default in osx :-

    a) MoonRocket
    b) ls
    c) gcc
    d) fink

    another example would be :-

Select which items are installed by default :-

    a) Safari
    b) Xcode
    c) TextEdit
    d) Pages
    e) Network Utility

Then there are also questions like, which of these orders is correct for diagnosing a power problem :-

    a) check power outlet
    b) check battery
    c) check harddrive connections
    d) check dc-inboard

Post back if you have anymore q's,

    Mise le meas,
    Fiachra.

Thanks for that Fiachra. I had heard it was multiple choice too. Ah well... we'll see how it goes anyway. Haven't booked it yet but my workplace want me to do it this month.
