    Hi,

Was recently asked for further info on a planning app which included soil/perc tests. Looks like i might need a treatment system but on the original application i had septic tank down.

My question is will I have to put this back into the newspaper seeing that I am changing something? ie septic tank to puriflo treatment system?

    thanks

This is still the original application, council are only requesting further information before they make a decision on the application. would appear insufficient info submitted with orig application. If your soil passed the percolation test you do not need a raised percolation bed, if it failed it does. Both still have a septic tank.

correct me if i am wrong, but they need a full EPA test now with ever application. And in the west, you wont get planning now without a properiety effluent system...its possibly and environmental issue these days

To answer your question - no you will not have to put it into the paper again.

As the other posts have indicated you will need a site assessment carried out and the details of the results furnished to your local planning department.

Just remember that you have 6 months to respond or your application will be returned to you

    Thanks guys,

have the tests done now.. report is being prepared at the moment. results of the report suggest the need for a treatment system as apposed to a standard septic tank as far as i know
