hey ive never really bought anything off ebay before but since i need a mini harddrive for my mp3 player i thought i'd buy off it

Some are dodgy. Some are going to sting you with huge p&p costs.
But, a quick glance suggests it's legit - It's an auction site. There's 1 day 18 hours left on it - it won't stay at 99p;) [Note: It's GBP, not Euro]

then build up over time.

a lot of people avoid bidding early to avoid pusihing the price up and many auctions finish with lots of bids in the last hour

Yeah some things are legit. I got a CDRW for 99c a few days ago, of course they make up for it with the shipping prices. Remember that item you are looking at is used.

The main thing to look out for when buying is just to stay away from users who want you to pay Western Union, stick with using Paypal. Do research on the seller (time spent on Paypal, check the items they sold to others and see if they are bogus items, i.e items for 99p or whatever).

edit: You can expect the item to get a heck of a lot more bids like the others have said, before bidding is over or you might get lucky.

cool sounds pretty legit i mean i dont mind paying 10 pounds for shipping because its the price that i would have payed the item plus alot more like.. thanks i'll probably bid tomorrow
