Service Pack Backup Files and other crap

Just looking at my hard drive today, my windows drive is only 4GB, shockingly small i know, but i dont really want the hassle of moving all my files and reinstalling.

I just noticed that a large chunk of the hard drive is taken up by Service pack 1 backup files, and i was just wondering if these can be deleted as the system has been running fine on SP1, and I ned to free up space to install SP2?

    Thanks in advance

I think its best to follow something directly from the MS Knowledge base on this one, article here. Remember to have everything backed up before installing SP2 (I had some trouble with it).
