Metroid Prime: Hunters Tourney with Prizes!

Wiffy.ie are organising their first Nintendo Wi-Fi tournament.

Whats the Format?
There will be a group stage with 4 players in each group. Each group plays 2 random maps with all 4 players playing. The winner of each map will get 4 points, 2nd place will get 3 points, 3rd place 2 points, last place 1 point.

After the group stage, the top ranked players will enter the second round of the Gold Cup, in a group of 4 players, again played over 2 random maps with the same points structure. The top 2 players will then go through to the final played over 2 random maps. In the event of a draw, a third map will be played to determine a winner.

What happens if i get knocked out in the group stage?
You enter the Challenge Cup, which will allow 4 runner-ups to enter a second round stage, in the same format as the group winners.

What are the Prizes?
Prizes will be given to the winner of the Gold Cup and to the winner of the Challenge Cup. Prizes will be a Nintendo DS game each, as well as bragging rights of being the top Hunter.

Your chances of winnning a game is actually better than 1 in 4, as you can bet your bottom dollar i wont be winning anything! Especially if its over a couple of rounds, theres goes any chance of a fluke.
