Komplett.ie have them for €185 (usb cable not included). Cartridges for them are (on inkclub.com) around 10 euro for a black for the epson brand and around 8 euro for inkclub brand, I think they refill the recycled ones or something. You should be able to get cartridges for them most places. Seems ok to me.

If you were willing to forego the colour lcd screen the EPSON DX4850 is €70 less in PC World - €150. Probably less again on komplett. Cartridges are €30 for a full set of 4 colours, with a free pack of photo paper thrown in. I bought this one as a replacement for the Epson C44UX and am loving it so far. I'm getting very good quality photos from it and it is quite fast.

EDIT: DX4850 is €129 on komplett.
