    Guys,

Have the house (new build) sealed.. Whats next? I figure insulation floor/roof/stud walls but what after that?

    . upstairs flooring
. plasterboard on 1st floor ceiling
. plasterboard on 1st floor stud walls
. plasterboard on ground floor celing.

Is there an order these should be done in or can the wall board be fitted b4 flooring upstairs etc?

    Cheers
    Jayoo

    Is it timberframe or block?
If it is timberframe, I did the jobs in this order, Fitted 4x1 battens to the joists upstairs, and slabbed whole ceiling,Then marked and fitted stud walls with acoustic felt on floor and ceiling plates and slabbed one side.
Laid wires from above insulated flooring for sound with rockwool/glassfibre (also HRV ducting)and laid flooring 2T+G chipboard glued and screwed.
insulated downstairs stud walls and finished wiring.
    finish double slabbing.

Why did you double slab? I am converting my attic and planning insulation, plasterboard etc.

You haven't mentioned first fix wiring or plumbing. The wiring in particular needs to be done before you insulate between the joists. First fix carpentry could be proceeding in parallel to plumbing and wiring also. i.e. fitting door frames and window boards.

The insulation on the sloped part of a roof needs to be done before the plasterboarding because you won't have access to it after the plasterboard is up. Insulation on the flat in the attic is easier done after the plasterboarding though because the slabs will stop the insulation from falling through.

The insulation on the floor will not go in until after the interior walls are plastered.

Noise and rigidity, and cost effective.
