    Folks,
With the pending arrival of my SB 600 flash, I'm looking to buy rechargeable AA batteries and charger.
I'm currently looking at NiMH 2600mAh, anything wrong with this? Are there better options?

    Cheers,
    S.

Go for a Hahnel charger ,they usually come with batteries. They're fast chargers and most of them come with a cigarette adapter for your car.
2600 power is grand ,you can get higher but them ones are grand.

I use Ansmann 2500, they last for ages on the canon 550ex, I found them alot better than any uniross batteries I have used. They take about 30 minutes to fully charge,

Aldi often do a run of rechargeable batteries - the last time I bought them, they were 2300mah, pack of 4 for €3.99.
Good batteries, still going strong a year later.

Thanks for the replies. I went for 2600mAh, batteries and charger. It was expensive, at £30, but it charges 4 AAs in 15 minutes :)
