I've only recently become interested in growing my own veg and had moderate success.

I thought I'd share this with you, it's a book I bought at the weekend and has answered a lot of my questions for future projects but also made me realise where I was going wrong in others :o

I don't think the serious veg growers will find anything new but if you're a n00b like me it should be useful..

It's called: Kitchen Harvest: A Cook's Guide to Growing Organic Fruit, Vegetables and Herbs in Containers

It is also useful for people living in apartments who don't necessarily have a garden because (as the title suggests), it's all about growing these things in pots :)

And no, I don't work for a publisher or know the author or anything, I just found it useful and I'm sure other beginners will too, but if the mods want to remove my post, please go ahead.

Anyone else got any good book suggestions?

The Royal horticultural societies "Growing vegetables" is good.
It can be quite techie for some, but you will find yourself coming back to it time and time again.
Two other RHS titles are "Growing fruit" and "Growing under glass"
