Registering with the Teaching Council

I've read the Teaching Councils take on it but does anyone have experience of registering with the council with a qualification from outside Ireland. I was offered the HDIP in Cork and PGCE (in IT) in the UK, and decided to take the latter for a change in scenery.

My Undergrad is a BA History and Media and my Masters in a MSc in Interactive Media (both hons), the PGCE will be in Information Technology. I reckon this qualifies to me to teach History and IT here in Ireland? (I know for a fact it will qualify me to teach History, Media and IT in the UK). Anyone with experience in this area offer some advice?

Sorry, Im not up to speed on teaching council recognition. Id say your best bet would be to give them a ring.
