Garden Levelling

Moved into a new house a few mths back and the garden was landscaped, what the useless pricks didnt do was bother their arse to destone it and now Im finding rocks in the garden, week after week  Also the garden has sunk a little on the left hand side so is a 2 or 3 foot lower than the right.

So anyway the question is anybody got any advice on new gardens and what to do in the above circumstances? Best bet would be to rotavate it and get some top soil to level it up and then roll out a new lawn??

Havent any major plans for the garden this year so just want a level decent lawn for next year....advice anyone?

    Cheers

Firstly, if the garden was originally level and has now dropped 2 or 3Ft on one side then you could have serious problems. This is not normal settlement and you could have collapsed drain pipes or shore or something. Investigate this first.

Pick the rocks out or else rotovate, pick rocks, rake level and reseed or lay turf, whicever you fancy really. Sorry I'm not more help but there is no magic solution as far as I know.
