Hi, so all last year I tried to stay away from all the boards beers etc. that have been happenin' in Trinity and stayed away from the 'cool crowd' that you are here,
so how do I go about initiating myself into yor nest, what do I have to do to Kev? what's the plan love?







ps. On a side note, Isn't it gas the amount of people who are drawn to ps. notes.

as for being in the cool crowd, please note that this is the internet, so cool is not the appropiate term. Nerd/geek/social recluse possible well a little. And it's not really that cliquey you just have to go through a mini-hazing for any stupid posts you make early on. Scratch that any stupid posts you make ever, and I would be living proof of this. Though I have probably taken this a little too seriously and as such down graded the dstraction element/entertainent value of this thread.

Oh and just out of interest HDX any chance you'll improve the gender balance?

Oh please. The Internet is awash with cool people who are very much tapped into that whole 'zeitgeist' thing. All your base are belong to us..... Okay, I'm not cool. But I'm a History student so I have one 'Get Out Of Social Situation' card that I get to use. Even then, still not cool. But pretty much everyone else here is. Generally, it's all as you see in the Real World *thunderclap* but with some HTML thrown in for the laugh.

Ah, internet hazing. I remember that back in the day (I actually remember when Gamespy wasn't a bloated piece of spyware). Fun times. As with most things in life (such as applying for a mortgage), the best way to succeed in this is to follow one of two tactics: a) Make a series of very insightful comments in an intellectual fashion or b) Make a series of very non-insightful comments about someone's mother. The only real caveat I can give is to avoid (or limit) drunken posts. What seems hilarious at the time will inevitably be archived by Google and displayed for all the world to see...

Gender balance? But I thought you didn't believe in affirmative action (this is where I get a kicking).....
