A beer without hops?

    I know next to nothing about beers, but are there any beers out there that dont have hops? Do spirits have hops?

    im nearly certain Weisse Beers such as Erdinger dont use hops,they are brewed using wheat instead

    Erdinger is made with hops. Tettnang hops if I'm not mistaken. Practically all beers are made with hops. Though I've tried one or two made with hemp. Hops add the bitterness to beer and act as a preservative. Spirits are not made with hops. They are produced through distillation.

    Cider is free of hops too, right?

    No hops in cider. That's just made from fermented apple juice.
