"What are you listening to/watching/touching right now?"

    "The Official Woo-hoo/anti-moan thread"

    "The Official Rant/Bitch/Moan thread"

"The official where in trinity/meh thread"

All these threads are on the front page of the forum. None of them, at this stage, involve actually discussing anything to do with trinity.

Time to clear out the off-topic thrash?

yes, because we're talking so much in other stuff? Until I can see a reason for them to go, then I don't think they should. Personally I think they're grand, as they keep a fair bit of off topic posting to the off topic posting threads...

It's a community forum for students, staff and alumni of TCD not a discussion forum on TCD so they're on topic as it were.

it was merged into the most relevent thread.

And frankly there is only so many entirely 'ontopic' posts that go on, if the tcd students discussion threads go this board will die.

If they piss you off well just don't read them, its a few titles, its not alot to skip over.

if they piss you off actually, start a new thread on a topic you'd like to discuss, even. draw attention away from it and thus you get proper on topic stuff. see? solution!
