Can anyone help identify an old SNES game?

Is this even posted in the right forum? If not, move away Mods, and apologies for wasting your time.

Anyway, can anyone help identify an old game from way back when? It went as follows: you are in control of a base of sorts on an island. There will be water between your island, and your opponents island/islands. The objective is to destroy your opponets base, obviously enough. Your base will have loads of anti-aircraft misiles near the shoreline, and it will also have aggressive misile systems and these big robots and stuff. You have to upgrade your base when you start, as your opponent will always be in a better position to start with, so you build banks and power plants, etc. You have to launch misiles over at your opponent, and send over your robots to unleash as much hell as possible.

At this stage, I would imagine that if you don't know it yet, any further elaborations won't help. So, any ideas anyone?
