    Hi, all

Just wondering if anybody knows whether there has been much accademic commentary on this? Debate over the changes it introduces etc...?

If so pointers to the relevant article(s) etc... would be greatly appreciated

If it's made its way into the Irish Current Law Statutes Annotated there will be commentary in that.

There a couple of articles on the Criminal Law (Insanity) Bill 2002 at http://www.ucc.ie/law/irlii/periodicals/keywordsearch.php?q=Insanity

Simon Mills' article is one of the top medico-legal types, so his is probably the best one to start with.

I have to confess though, I don't know how similar the 2002 Bill and the 2006 Act are.
