Alright, I really have no idea where to put this thread, so I'm gonna go with After Hours. I've heard rumours that residents in the Dublin 3 area can get free tickets to any event in Croke Park (to appease residents who have to put up with noise, etc) - is this true? How would go about obtaining such tickets? Would one have go through the residents association?

Give the residents association a call and find out.

Yeah, they get an allocation. TBH that would probably be the first thing I asked if I moved there, I don't care about central heating, any chance of an All Ireland final ticket? How long you give this before it's moved or someone gives out about it being a Dublin thread (usually a Galway person for some reason)?

My girlfriend used to live on Clonliffe road, around the corner from croker, apparently she and her housemates were entitled to something. Unfortunately they were interested in neither Gaelic Games nor Bon Jovi...

Where exactly in D3 are you? If you live in East Wall a match or concert hardly affects you and think you have to live in the immediate Clonliffe/Jones's Road area
