    Hi
Was meeting someone of a Ryaniar flight this evening and noticed that nearly all their flights had significant delays - didnt seem to be the case with other airlines so checked their flight information page on ryanair.com when i got back and the results are attached.
It looks like near to 50% of the flights are delayed - wonder if that will be reflected in their on-time statistics next week. All sorts of reasons - not just the weather - baggage being offloaded, checkin errors, technical faults....

And they also cancelled 24 flights outright from stansted - in addtion to the delays.

Looks a right mess for them

Having had a very quick glance at the attachment, it would seem that the majority of the delays were caused by ATC restrictions in Stanstead earlier that day and beyond Ryanair's control.

It's pretty well known that most airlines struggle to keep to schedules at the end of each day as delays on turnarounds or missed slots accumulate and have the greatest impact on evening flights.

I'm no fan of Ryanair, but I'd be pretty sure they have a record of being the most punctual airline in the UK and Ireland. I've certainly never experienced any delays whenever I've flown Ryanair, although I've probably only used them about 5 time in the last couple of years. However, I've flown Aer Lingus about 10 times this year and not one of the flights was on time. In fact one of them was diverted en route resulting in a 6 hour bus journey to complete the trip, having already been delayed 1.5 hours prior to departure.
