    Hi,

Can anyone tell me where to buy some CT100 or H109 coaxial cable?
Most places I've tried so far only have normal coax or RG6.

And Maplin too, but they double the price unless you buy a full roll

Tried both B&Q and Maplins - they only had RG6 and FT100 respectively.
Other places I've tried say they have Sat100 whatever that is.

Radionics was one place that had it but only in 100m reels.

A problem might be the massive hikes in the price of cable. Suppliers say it's because the price of copper, though I dunno.

A few months ago, a 250m roll of CT100 wasn't much dearer than RG6, but now I can buy 2 250m rolls of RG6 for the price of 1 roll of CT100. The hikes are incredible. If any installers, etc has a source for sensibly priced CT100, I'd like to know! :)

Whats stopping you from using FT100? Its effectively identical, barring the foam dielectric, which doesn't make any perceivable difference to signal, and is a better idea with Irish weather (water can't run down the foam like it can down the cavities in CT100)

Yes, I usually use FT100, for the reasons MYOB described, also it's harder to kink.
