Search for a file called wayferer.pnt on your c:drive
Copy and paste it. Rename the 2nd copy to newname.pnt

Make sure neither skin is open at the time.

haha brilliant! thanks. I was there trying to write a script using AutoHotKey before I thought that there must be an easier way to do it than this!

What sort of notes do you all take on other players. How useful do you find them?

Depends on the circumstance. May be something specific to do with a players betting patterns and the range of hands he is likely to play with. on the other hand it may be something simple like d4r4gh = fish:D

How about combining notes from 2 or more skins ?

i.e. I would like to combine my PPP notes with my VC notes. Any ideas ?

I would assume that the method you describe above overwrites anything you've done on one skin ?

Sorry, PiperT. No idea how to do that. I've 2 accounts, one my 'pro' account, one my 'drunk' account. I often swap round for bonuses hence the earlier bit of knowledge, but I never take drunk notes so I never have to combine.
I'd suspect its tricky because its not a text file. And you would be correct about the 'overwriting' which would happen if you followed my earlier method.

PNT is the file extension for the Graphic file associated with MacPaint. It is also the file extension for Pro/Engineer Pen Table plotting file.

When I find out a program that can open and edit theses files, then i'll post up here

Whatever you do, don't copy the contents of one into the other - that doesn't work and fücks up all of them.

I thought that as well but I've a feeling pnt is tribeca's own format and just means poker notes. I doubt there's a editor but sure you can look if you want! ;)

Notepad will open it. If you turn on word wrap it might be easier to edit(copy and paste). The notes are listed in chronological order - line by line. A quick copy and paste should do the trick i suspect. Dunno if the4 date would affect the order they are to be oput in. rename the original one ( Back up)and do a couple of experiments. Try copying one of the sites .txt file to the end of the other onew. Rename it with your player name and then i'd say bobs your uncle.....

to do it properly you will need to write a program as the files are in binary fomat.

You can open it in notepad and do a rough copy which means you can view the notes but when you try and edit or add new ones it all gets ****ed up.

I would write one but im just lazy and could not be bothered. But it should be fairly straight forward for any other programmers out there.
