Hi all loking for information from people who have installed wood pellet and/or solar to a new build.
we are just starting to build in Co.Mayo and the varying and conflicting information received so far is doing my head in.
The questions are what make of boiler/panels did you use.
Any problems or things you would change if doing it again.
    Recommended companies for installation.
    Thanks Mark....

We have a 6.3m2 flat panel with 400l dual coil tank.
temps in the last month have ranged from 85ºc to 40ºc today (misty shite all day:( )
regardless of the poor weather even in May we still had 30ºc to wash in all without using any immersion which is fitted.
It is too early for us to say whether we would do anything different as we haven't spent a full winter in yet, but are happy so far with all the free hot water that we need.
Flat panels are not as efficient as tubes but are reliable and strong.
edit :supplier was Solaris in Macroom
