Generally, how much weight is INTRA given when it comes to awarding the final degree mark?

    Thanks.

Intra is Pass or Fail only, so not too much weight is given to it.It's the benefit of having experience on your CV is what Intra is really about. It's pretty much a guarenteed 30 credits (I think).

Everyone passes, if you fail it's usually cause you've burned the office down, twice. :)

I am on intra this year and it had no bearing on the weighting of my grades. It is a pass or fail subject but(depending on your degree) is a 30 credit worth approx 1 semesters total work, so technically should count to quite a substantial part of you degree.

Hahahahaha. If you read the Redbrick boards, you'd know how funny that was.

I don't think so. Since INTRA isn't graded, it's only used in deciding whether you get to 4th year or not, it shouldn't have an affect on the mark that you got.

Is your mark for 3rd year counted towards your final degree?

Depends on your degree! Us engineers have contributions from 2nd and 3rd yr!! Think it is 10% and 15% respectively.:(

it does counted towards my final degree.
too bad it didn't count, but if it's only used in deciding whether you get to 4th year or not, why does it have certain percentage of the total credit?
