    Lads,

You might be able to help me in this forum. Maybe somebody into restorations.

Have a transmission cover from a scooter that needs to be powdercoated. However it still has bits of old paint, crap etc on it.

Anyone know a place that does sandblasting and/or powder coating??

The part is only about 3 ft x 1 ft so not big at all.

    Thanks.

I bought a set of scruffy minilites on Ebay a few weeks back. Shea Lawless did a great job sandblasting them and a company called SA Powder in Newcastle just off the Naas Rd powder coated them for me. Shea is just beside Dennings Crash Repairs at the templeogue exit off the M50.

Thanks a million. Is he a business or just a guy with a blasting set-up.? How much to do a quick blasting job (the thing i need doing would be no bigger than a wheel).

He's a Gent. he sandblasted a lot of my TR6 bits. The simpler the part the cheaper he is. His main business is sandblasting on building sites I think. So ring him and he'll arrange a date to meet you at his yard. Turn in as if you are heading to Dennings and his yard is next door through the large security gates on the left before you get to the entrance to Dennings. He'll also let you know who does powdercoating

    His number is: 087 2304994.

    Regards,

    Geoff
