Beards have been worn by alot of serial killers and rapists, you might think this is a ridicilious thing to say but subliminally, its the way employers think.

    Id say shave it off.

As long as your beard is neat & you convey an overall professional appearance you'll be fine.

Depends what type of job - here is my definitive list

    Banker - No
    IT - Yes
    Samwich Maker - No
    Binman - Yes
    Lawyer - No
    Librarian - Yes
Sex Shop Shelf Stacker (aka SaSSSy)- Yes

Uri Gellar is most famous because he bends spoons
Uri Gellar is undoubtedly the most famous psychic in the world. He has been able to bend spoons on his command, and that is not his most powerful skill.

and for the record, i was only jokin (which was fairly obvious from my light hearted posts)

I interview people frequently. If someone I interviewed without a beard arrived into work with a beard I'd think there is something very wrong, especially if it was a woman.
If you have a beard wear it and if you don't, don't.
But I would keep it tidy for an interview, ie, no food or buggers caught in the hair.
