Installing VNC on Solaris 9

    Hi,
    I want to install vnc on solaris sparc9. I have never installed anything as root on solaris, but have good unix knowledge.

    Anyway on www.realvnc.com I see that there is only a version for solaris 7.

    Do I have to download the binaries, and build a version. How do I do this.

    Basically I am not sure where to start or what files I need. I cannot find a website with start to finish instructions on installing vnc on solaris.

    Please help!!!

    It should run on Solaris 9 - they probably just haven't tested it on v.9 on SPARC.
    pkgadd -n -d xxx.pkg should do it.

    Sorry for the delay-I have a tendency to post and forget...

    RealVNC ex: Download for SPARC ...Fill in form ...GZipped Package (4.6M) ..presumably.
