They're still showing Season 5 of Scrubs on RTÉ with last Monday's episode being
where Carla finds out she's pregnant.

So i imagine it's the next episode after that!

Is there definately a new series? When is it starting? They showed the last two episodes of season one on Monday night, but there's a new drama called Legend starting next Monday at 9.30pm?

    No new Pure Mule?

Legend looks interesting though. Is that the guys from 'Love is the Drug' and 'Fair City' in the promo?

There are no plans for a new series of Pure Mule.

    that is fair fu*king s*it!

RTE too stingy to cough up money for the sake of continuity. Same sh*t with 'love is the drug' last year. Yet they spend our licence money on repeat films (How many bond seasons can you have).

I honestly dont see any point in watching legend if it will be scrapped after one season.

Pure Mule was brilliant, it was one of the only dramas I felt involved in when watching, I didn't even view it the context of 'Irish Production', if you know what I mean. Aargh. I want a second series.

This is typical of what RTE does - something good that they produce (Pure Mule, Paths to Freedom etc.) they will invariably cancel it but something pure sh1te (Your a Star, Tubridy Tonight etc) they will constantly keep showing it. Either that or as someone else said repeat films etc. until you are "blue in the face" seeing them.

A pity that Pure Mule isn't being renewed. IMO it was the best programme from RTE in a few years.
