Normal tv on a hdtv

I bought myself a 32" HDTV a few weeks back and because my normal sitting room tv weighs about 1000 pounds, I've got the HDTV upstairs hooked up to my various game systems. It's probably being wasted, but I have no intention of getting SKY HD any time this year, nor a HD-DVD player, so is there any point in lugging my monster CRT upstairs and swapping the 2 tv's? Will I notice any dfference in quality when watching normal (sky digital) tv?
