    Hey, i've just finished my second year at University doing Interactive Multimedia Design and i'm currently seeking a placement and am having bother.

    I have only heard back from a few companies i have applied for and it has all been negative.

    Does anyone have any idea where i could get a placement for a year?

    What sort of job are you looking for ? What exactly is multimedia design ? IS that like web design ? Does it have to be directly related to your degree or can it be somewhat linked ? Most of the multi national companies do placements. when do you start it ?

    A work placement? ANd is it paid for my the college? If yes to both of these, goto a company you'd like to work for, and ask can you do X amount of weeks there, and the college will pay for it. Everyone likes free work.


    If they get you to make tea, go find another company.

    Its supposed to be paid for by the company.

    yeah web design is part of it. Also includes graphic design and 3d design.

    Starts in september.

    any ideas?
