PSU Question

    Hey, Wondering if this
    psu is decent enough to run a 7900gs graphics card. Only other things drawing power from the psu will be one optical drive, and one SATAII hard drive.

    480w Should be ok but you should go for a better make ie. Seasonic, Ocz or Antek. Will save ya in the long run.

    It's 500w, and the review seems to think it's a good psu. Also, my mate who got it for me, works in the computer industry, with the building, and the fixing, and he swears by it.

    Not so much worried about the psu quality, but if it will power the card ok - which seems to be the case. :)

    because the +12 is only 15 amps it won't power a modern system because most boards now draw most watts form this line. you need at least 22 or 24, not sure which one though, or 2 +12v lines
