    Hey,

I have a Lidl MP3 car radio with built in USB port.. I was just wondering if anyone has used their iPod through the USB and if it is easy to use? How do you control it, through the radio or the iPod?

Thinkin of getting an iPod & just wondering what the story is...

let me know if ya have, cheers!

I'd suspect that it would only work with mp3 players that work as drives and organise music in folders, such as the Creative. iPods organise music really weird.

Sorry to bust in on your thread but maybe you can help me. I'm looking to buy a USB radio for the car so I checked out some in Argos. It says the have ISO connections, I take it thats how the radio connects to the power & speakers in the car. Is this a standard connection? My car (03 Daewoo Kalos) has a stereo will it be easy to replace with a modern one?

Autoleads makes the adapters you need to fit an aftermarket stereo to a car. I don't see the Kalos mentioned here, but here's what you need for other Daewoo's: http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Stereo_fitting_kits/daewoo.htm. Some cars come with ISO connectors already. Renaults tend to do this, for instance. I guess you need to take out the stereo and have a look.
