    So I have finally been given a shot at getting a part time job for the summer and weekends during the school term. I was talking to the owner of the bar and he was saying that he is looking for floor staff and to come into him and we will talk. Would I only be able to work till a certain time or will I be able to work a bit later. He was also talking about working in a nightclub.

    Many a underage youth has spent there time working the pubs. I don't think any of them enforced those wonderful working guidelines for minors. The fact that he mentioned nightclub's means he probably wont either.

    If you make it an issue I'm sure those part time shifts may start to dissappear.

    On another note floor service jobs are great, think it helps you a lot in your development of dealing with people. I started doing it when I was 13 / 14 think it did me a world of wonder!

    Great money in the tips as well.

    Sure go for it,
    Night club work is tough though alot different to bar work too,5am finishes alot more aggro etc but the money is normally better and there are more hours.
    Make sure to check out how your gonig to get home aswell,an often forgotten factor!

    O only live within bout 10mins walking distance from each place so its grand. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
