Sorry if this has been asked before - but how come I can never find a decent listing of the martial arts available in each county, let alone Dublin?

I think this covers most of the Shotokan clubs, any one can list on it, regardless of assoc. etc.

Thats a perfect example of what I am talking about - a single site that lists relevant information about related clubs

And Nothingcompares - maybe someone does care that you can do wushu in Louth at 7 instead of 8, on a wednesday :)

I would set up a site for such listings - if people were interested in that kind of thing

Plus list shops/online retailers for equipment, etc

What are the interests in that???

    Hi all, new here

This is a great idea but the problems are that no one site out there has all the contact info for all clubs/styles/arts.
Not all clubs have websites/email contact details "out there" which makes it hard for people to find clubs if they dont know someone in the art or related arts.
    Clubs need to market themselves!
    my two cents...:)

Fightingireland.com is trying to build as comprehensive a listing of Irish martial arts clubs as possible. We have 390 clubs listed throughout Ireland and the number is growing pretty much daily. For Dublin we have 116 clubs listed at the moment. We are not affilated to any style of martial art or association, all clubs/styles get equal footing and information. We search through sites and magazines adding what we find, and clubs can log on free and add their own info. Also, if you are looking for a particular style of martial art in a particular area you can email us and we’ll try to find one for you. Email info@fightingireland.com and we’ll do what we can to help

For a complete listing of every martial arts club worth training in go to www.ko-martialarts.com. We've spent a long time building up the database there and you'll find everything you're looking for.;)
