    Hey,

    I'm looking for upright bass luthiers in Ireland does anyone know of any. I would like to get a lefty special built for myself. I'm aware of paul doyle in galway but would like to know if there are others here.

    Is Paul Doyle a luthier? I thought he was just a luthiers supplier... he's a rip off anyway.

    Thanks for the replies. Yes he gave me some quotes for a hand built bas ranging from €5500 to €16,000 Might I ask why you think that paul doyle is a rip off? Have you played any of his instruments? If so what are they like?
