Any car store -> and some spray paint, just make sure to mask up well.

Edit: There are vinyl dyes available, never used them before..

Is this to match your case or something because I think you can just remove the bezel and get a black one to fit on there?

I've actually done this before & it is easy enough if you cant acquire a matching face plate for your drive.

Go to car store & look for Holts DupliColour acrylic spay paint, it comes in a variety of colours for instance L116 is satin black and matches the black aluminum used in some cases quite well.

    How to use:
Power on PC, press eject on DVD drive & power off PC. You need to do this to remove the tray bezel, now remove the DVDRW drive from your computer and take off the tray bezel (it should clip off) as this will allow you to take off the full face plate.

Look on the sides and under side of the drive you should see some clips that when pushed should pop the face plate off from the drive.

Once removed tape over the plastic window bit for the LED on both sides or remove it if possible you can reattach it with glue if the worst happens.

Now apply one coat with the spray paint and give it 40 mins or so to dry a bit, then give it another coat 2-3 coats in total should be enough and you will end up with a very fine finish.

You may need to leave it for several hours to dry completely as you don't want to touch it and then smudge the thing and have to start over all again. Once dry put the main face back on first (don't forget to remove the tape over the LED window) then clip on the trays bezel again and that's it.

Picture I saved of example drives from a now defunct thread on CDR Labs where I learned how to do the above.

You should be able to remove just the bezel. Sand it lightly then use some primer....light coats sanding between each one. Any black spray paint should do it...Plasikote gloss black from Woodies or B&Q works well. Again do thin coats and lightly sand inbetween each with v fine wet and dry paper.
Takes time to do it well but can look very good.
