    hi,
i have just bought myself a 99 Lancer and i am looking to change the air filter in it. dunno if i'll get any extra BHP out of it at all by changing it but i also want the engine to sound better. not looking for any big scanger noise from the car but something to give it a nicer growl?

    J.

only thing you could do is pop onto www.manic-motorz.com and ask the lads there!! I would imagine a panel filter but I don't know if they would do anything for it!! or www.imoc.org (Irish Mitsibishi Owners Club)

You wont gain any bhp but you will gain noise.Lancers/colts are fairly loud with filters on them, imo they sound crap.

If possible get find a mate with one and try his on your car and see what you think

Anyone know anything about getting the induction kit on a '99 opel corsa 1.0?

    Worth doing or a mistake?

Dont bother, you'l probably also shag your air flow meter or some other engine sensor and the gains are non existent
