Crimping?

    Hey,
    could someone offer an explanation of how to crimp? Maybe a step - by step guide, or a link to a good one?

    I presume you mean crimping network cable. There aint much to it.

    Get a propper crimper tool. then all you have to do is make sure the individual wires are in the correct positions in the cable end. thats about it

    On telephone cable when I strip main white flex.Next I have four wires Red,Blue,Yellow and Black what I need to know is should I strip these four wires befor crimping.

    Nope you generally don't have to bare the copper wires, since the crimping process usually cuts through the sleeving on those thus making contact. Also, is that blue actually green!?

    No my cable has a blue,a yellow,a black and a red wire.

    Ah fair enough - that's unusual enough for a 4 core phone cable.
