Creative Zen software for Windows ME??

    Hi,

    My friend recently recieved a gift of a creative zen microphoto but she only has Windows ME and the player requires XP. Is it possible to get software for it that will work with ME, Any help or advice will be a great as it will save me having to upgrade to XP.

    Very doubtful. I couldn't even find any way of getting it working with Windows 2000, which is pretty much the same as XP - ME is very different architecture, and Microsoft have stopped supporting it a few weeks ago so don't expect any new software for it, nor much along the lines of help.

    How old is the computer, and what specs does it have? It might be possible to upgrade to Windows XP with little hassle (a late Pentium III or Pentium 4 should be OK), though a memory upgrade might be required (may cost about €50).

    notmad explorer will sort it for you. Its not free if you want all features. But the free version cover most bases IIRC.

    A lot cheaper than buying XP & RAM though!

    Hey thanks SouperComputer, I downloaded the trial version and I will try it this evening, If it works I will suggest it to her to purchase the full version.
