    Maybe, they are not playing anywhere on the Sunday, and they play Belfast on the monday and Galway on the Tuesday. But the saturday gig still isnt sold out yet which is strange. At least I wont be the only person there on the Saturday:D

    Yep i was right as always, Saw in the Star this morning that Sparklehorse are doing another show on the 15th Sept in whelans as well as the 14th. i knew they would. Whelans is far too small for him. Did he play the olympia years ago or is that just me dreaming?

    Yeah he played the olympia years ago, but the last time he came here back in 2001 he played whelans supported by Ed Harcourt and Gemma Hayes a great gig

    That was in the Ambassador (Gemma Hayes did backing vocals on homecoming queen)...

    Just dug out my ticket stub for that gig. It was on Saturday June 30th 2001 witnness Rising Sparklehorse/ Ed Harcourt Gemma Hayes with DJ Pat McMellow in whelans
