    Ok,
Been thinking about going on a holiday with a difference, i've always been intersted storm chasing ever since i saw them on Nat Geographic etc....it looks very exciting...i've been looking up tours you can do with these guys....

i know its a long shot but has anyone ever been on one of these tours?....if so was it worth the money you paid?...

I think you need to consider a few things first.. you're not guaranteed to see anything so what you saw on Nat Geographic is probably a combination of 3-4months of filming crammed into 1 hr of TV.. So naturally enough they are going to put all the best bits in.

Secondly, expect to spend 12-14 hrs in a car/minivan/minibus driving around very flat and uninteresting countryside..

From what I hear, if you do see one its amazing, but thats a big "IF".

Personally I'd think its a lot of money where you're not guaranteed to see anything. These guys here charge $1800 for 6 days $3700 for 12 days. and that doesnt include food
