    I have Mac OSX 10.3.9 (7w98)
    How can I upgrade?
And is there a free way?

    I'm afraid not.

    It's €129 for 10.4

You can get it in lots of shops in Dublin city centre.

But you might want to hold off a while, as Apple are unveiling their 10.5 in the coming weeks.

10.4 is still just a little over a year old... I'd say it will be early 2007 before they release 10.5.

But we should be seeing a lot more of it at the Worldwide Developers Conference next month.

I will be interested to see what extras they through into 10.5 to justify the upgrade price. So far, I am sticking with 10.4.7. One thing that has caught my attention is the rumoured ability to run Windows and OSX at the same time with the Intel Virtualisation system :D

But wouldn't that mean that 10.5 is totally incompatible with PPC Macs?

Nope. 10.5 will definitely run on PPC macs. Any rumoured virtualisation tech obviously wouldnt, though.
