Dog and cat minder needed for a few days

    Hey folks,

does anyone know of any professional dog and cat minders around Dublin? The whole family is going away for 4 or 5 days, on the 16th August, so nobody will be able to look after the animals.

The dog is a boxer, and she can be a handful sometimes. The cat just wanders around and does his own thing, no trouble.

    Thanks for any help

    Try this....
    http://www.irishanimals.ie/care/kennel.html#board :)

There are petsitting services offered in the Dublin section where people will either stay in your home with your pets or visit them during the day, walk, feed them etc.

just be careful about the cat...I'm doing some research myself for a cattery and I came across an article about cats wandering off when they are being fed by neighbours as they don't know them. The neighbours were feeding them but thats all and the cat was looking for someone to talk to so it wandered off, got attacked by magpies and ended up with a nasty bite on it's back which got infected with flies....anyway, just something to consider...sounds grim doesn't it! :(
