I could only find two in Ireland, has anyone ever been to ether of these schools?

    http://www.rallyschoolireland.ie

    http://www.rallyconnection.com

Rally connection is cheeper and has an offroad go cart track which could be a laugh but rally school Ireland looks to have more cars and probably better set up.

    Can anyone recommend one?

a friend of mine works in rallyschoolireland up in Monaghan, she says it's quality and that everyone there is bang on and good craic. Although she works there so she would say that.......

I spent the day at Rally School Ireland yesterday. Excellent place with excellent staff - I would heartily recommend it. :D

All of the staff, from the girls at the desk to the instructors were excellent, and great craic. And one of the owners, David, even took spectators (who don't pay) out for a spin in the demo car (Subaru Impreza Wagon) which my girlfriend really enjoyed.

I did the rallyschool ireland a few years ago and found it to be class. The escorts are so much fun sideways.

Very well organised and plenty of track time, just be carefull getting back into your own car afterwards, very easy to forget and floor it into the first corner you come across !!

Could be true, depending on the car you drive ;)
I drove the Impreza Turbo STI last, and then ~15 mins later got into my own car, a 1.6 Focus hatchback. The comparative lack of response was troubling :(

There is a school up north that gives you an onboard video of your run, which is rather cool.

Can't find the name of it though :(

Ah yes, this is the place I went to - definitely well worth the trip up. It's called superdrive (website here --> http://www.superdriveni.com/)

I signed up for the advanced rally school - best day of cars ever, with the best of instructors Brendan Crealey! :D

It looks like rally school of Ireland is the best you get to choose your cars and have more options in price. Around €250 up to €850 for different courses. The Escort/BMW package (€395) looks like preaty good value for what you get.

I'm hoping getting to let loose on a track will make me more relaxed in my own car not encourage me to powerslide on public roads. :D Although I'm sure powerslides aren't included in the new points system.
