    Hi all,

I am going unreg for this as I need to find a good counsellor in the Dublin North area.

I went to one before but she was more of a volunteer kind.

I have been looking through the golden pages but there are so many I wouldnt know where to begin.

Can anyone help me with this?? I have a few problems that keep haunting me that I want to overcome and enjoy my life.

    Thanks in advance.

Why not go to your GP and ask them to recommend one in your area?

Contact the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy - IACP

    8 Cumberland St., Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Tel. 00 353 1 2300061

They keep a directory of members and will refer you to accredited (i.e. properly qualified) counsellors in your area.

    Best of luck

I'd also recommend contacting the IACP - or alternatively you can also find an accredited therapist via the IAHIP website -www.iahip.com.

If you want to send me a PM I can recommend someone working in Glasnevin if that's any help?
