    Hey all,
Alot of you guys helped me out with some malware/virus related issues last week. I think the time has come to completely reinstall the OS.

Now - I need some advice on backing up. The main file directories are fine. But what else do I need to worry about?

Email - I have both Thunderbird and Outlook. There are various programs out there advertising back up etc.
Has anyone transferred their emails/address books to a new computer using a USB key? If so - how did you do it and what problems did you hit?

Is there anything else I need to worry about?

    Cheers,
    Quad

If you're running windows XP, you can use the 'file and settings transfer wizard' (under accessoiries / system tools)

Make sure you have a driver disc handy, if not then jot down the current devices you need drivers for and locate them later on.
