My disc drives have developed an odd problem, they will only read one disc and then I have to restart. If I put another disc in it detects it as the previous disc. Very odd.

One is a samsung dvd-rom (SD-616T) the main one is a Philips DVD+RW-D28

I am assuming the drives are on the Secondary IDE channel, if so is DMA enabled (Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, right click on Secondary IDE Channel and see under Advanced Settings.

EDIT-Oops just saw your post. :)
