Who's owned one, and how was it?

This little british classic tickes the boxes for most of my 1st-classic-wishlist. Particularly the convertible. I love the stying, its a 4-seater ( I have accepted there are 3 in my family!), and I love the way the engine is so accessible.

Any past-owner input would be most welcome, polease...

    ANd thanks in advance!

Tbh they're underpowered, very rust prone and badly built. In fact the only good thing about them is the steering lock. The Vitesse is slightly better but the handling isn't great either. I had one of each.

I'm not too worried about the handling, really. The online reviews I saw were positive on the whole. How did yours let you down, Junkyard?
