Bought a usb HDD/cd-rw externel caddy of svp(SumVision model no:p550u) I know when I got the caddy it came with install disc which is since gone missing but did not need it at the time as I plugged it in and it worked. Have since done a re-install of the OS(XP) and does not seem to want to work even though my usb controllers are installed and working in device manager. Have managed to google SunVision but their website is very basic ie: no email/driver downloads so I presume they want you to go back to your supplier. The other site I found is Driversguide which seems to list some device drivers for sunvision products but not my one and they want to charge you for the service anyways. So was wondering on the off chance if anyone else here had bought one and could upload what is on the cd that came with it

    Thanks Cubix

    Cheers

Try Everest Home. It will list the device driver for you. http://www.driverguide.com should have it. Registration and downloads are free.

Is the an FCC-ID listed on your device (should be listed with the power requirements and manufacturer information), it might be helpful in locating the software or driver for it?
