Borderlescott gets the vote to take on odds on favourite Osterhase in the 3.55 at Fairyhouse today. It has displayed cracking form over the last year and owes me absolutely nothing. It's well used to this going and trip. Forecasted as 4/1 it will be shorter than that. I expect it to go off around 2/1.Ran a cracker but was just beaten into 2nd, was 1/2 lenght in front with 20 yards to run and was beat.

The 3.25 at Fairyhouse is a cracking contest and I've ruled it down a contest between Set Fire, Mist and Stone, and Sling Back. Both Mist and Stone, and Set Fire finished second and third respectively in their last outing, but those two are given considerable weight hikes today. Sling Back tends to do better over 7f in comparison to recent 6f efforts but is used to the weight it has today and is the one I'm going to side with. Rol'over Beethoven finished forth in the same contest as Set Fire and Mist and Stone but is also up in the weights and is being ignored. Sling Back to win. nowhere

Tipperary 3.45 Adamant Approach can reverse form on Callow Lake today. I have followed both Adamant Approach and it's stablemate Joueur D'Estruval for some time now and neither of them owe me anything. It's no news that I'm not a fan of Geraghty either, which made the decision to side with Adamant Approach alot easier. Geraghty has a style of riding that strangles a horse upon landing, and given that Adamant Approach has the weight advantage, I'm hoping Ruby can take advantage of that today. Fell at the last

Tipperary 4.15 Without A Paddle went backwards last time out when in with a strong chance with 1.5f to go. Look at it's form, it has never taken well to 6f. It's being sent back over 5f today, and given the weight advantage over La Motta today (it finished 1L behind La Motta 2 races ago) , I think it is a solid e/w chance at 8/1. nowhere

Disaster of a day. I'm going to have an e/w bet on Toss the Caber in the 4.50 at Redcar in an attempt to get something back from today.

Going for Mr Majestic in the 4.50,drops back in trip which should suit, good second last time to the improving Key Time.
