I downloaded this new sit n' go record keeper the other day but I don't know what a couple of the figures mean. Could someone please explain the figures in the green area below??

I know SD means Standard Variance and I [almost] know what that means but dont understand the 65% in 100 tourneys thing. The formula for cell E25 is in the formual box thing at the top if that helps?

The 65% in 100 thingy is just a confidence interval. Basically just an estimation based on the sample size you have taken so far i.e 11 sngs.
So if you carry on with your 63% ROI ;) after 100 tourneys you can be 65% confident that you will make between $767-$1332 and 95% confident that you will make $485-$1614. So a 99% CI will give a much bigger range.

Thanks, still not sure what the last one, the 27.6% one, is. I'm sure the 63% ROI is just a bit of positive variance since I started (hope not). I had been playing the $10 stts on tribeca but the beats are just horrendous. Don't seem to be nearly as many in the $15's. Standard of player I presume.

I searched the web for a few and found their either way too complicated or way too basic. This one, from 2+2, seems to be fine. You can use it for all your poker but it only gives the real detailed stats on SNG's. If your not too hot at exel, like myself, it can take a bit of getting used to.

The first thing you do is rename the tabs at the bottom to whatever sng's you play eg. SNG1 changes to $10 9s (seater), STATS1 changes to $10 9s Stats and so on.
Then, on the top of the SNG page fill in the buy-in, reg fee, and amount of seats. When you do this it will show a loss in your "money" sheet but this will go after you play your first tourney, its just the way excel works out the formula.

Then, when you want to play a touney, click the "start new tourney" button>click the tourney type (this will be whatever name you called the tab eg, $10 9s)>when the tourney is finished click the "end tourney" button. It will ask you for your finishing position > click "exit". then it will do all the math.

You can also import all your results direct from POKERTRACKER.

Any probs send me a PM.

    Speadsheet here...
